Welcome

On behalf of the ISM—Pittsburgh Board of Directors, I want to welcome you to ISM-Pittsburgh's website, and I encourage you to take some time and explore.

In early June, the newly elected Board of Directors held its strategic planning session. At this annual meeting, we brainstormed and collaborated to develop a strong professional development program for the coming program year. I also want to take a moment and ask all members to share their ideas for programs, events, site visits, etc...  We value your input and want to ensure you that we are here to listen and meet your supply management needs both personally and professionally.

The theme for the 2024-2025 program year is "Pioneering the Future of Supply Chain Excellence Through Learning and Innovation.  We will host over 20 events both in-person and virtual between August and June, all supporting the theme for the year.  We hosted our first two events in August and will continue to offer two events per month through December.  Our next meeting/tour/networking session will be held on September 17 at East End Brewery.  On September 20 we will host a one-day seminar on Duquesne University's Campus on Excel Fundamentals & Data Analytics.  We hope to see you at an event as the Board works to meet your continuing education requirements.

If you are not yet a member of ISM—Pittsburgh, I invite you to join. If you'd like further information on the numerous benefits of membership, please contact ISM—Pittsburgh's Executive Director at lisaromango9104@comcast.net
